I once again had the opportunity to present to Dr. Samantha Wilson‘s class at the Medical College of Wisconsin titled  Adoption and Foster Care: Considerations for Medical Practice. Dr. Wilson is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and a Trauma-Informed, Adoption Competent Clinical Psychologist.   The class objective is to increase students’ understanding and competence regarding adoption and foster care as they intersect within medical practice.

I am immensely heartened by the work that Dr. Samantha Wilson does, by this class, and by the medical students committed to learning more about adoption and foster care.
